An honorary member of the Finnish Mafia, Alex is known to have hosted an afterparty or two (with the Finns eating his goddamned bananas) and great times are always had with this dude. Sunday he hit the turntables at some beauty salon in the Mission. We hit the drinks.

The French are here! Salut to my friend William, who I had a chance to see before heading out to Burning Man. John Zorn was in town, too, with Mike Patton, and we checked out the show -- bad craziness in the best way! And we endured a Ninja band attack.

“Steven’s Last Night In Town”
After one week Oso left town for Mexico, he's back! Only for a couple days (and as I type this, he's already gone again) but long enough to have a couple drinks and dinner with friends who still remain in the City. Good times, chingón!
And he was really excited to be here, too.
