After The Zombie War

I've been exposed to a lot of zombies lately. Not the actual living dead, but in pop culture, games and books. This was actually a great read, and other people thought so, too: Three different people on the street struck up conversations with me when they saw me out with the book. This old rocker dude said it best, standing right next to The Armory on the corner of 14th and Mission: "It's a better book than any zombie book really deserves to be."

Zombies freeze in the winter. But then they thaw in the spring. Crap!

Also, I think I'm more of a zombie guy (as opposed to a vampire guy.) Vampires, to me, seem like they are too easily distracted by trying to look good, or being blasé about it all, going "eh". Maybe it's that they're old aristocrats, but they just seem to be the French of the undead. Zombies, meanwhile, will stop at fucking nothing. Unless you shoot them in the brain.

Poppin’

So I had to give in to sinusitis, which was such a bummer, since I had been looking forward to the 'Stache Bash all month. And my 'stache was all but ready. Anyway, took a trip to St. Luke's hospital (nice folks) on César Chávez and Valencia and was prescribed, among other things, Vicodin.

I hear House should go on Norco, so as not to shoot his liver.

When you sit around the house and have nothing to do, you take pictures of coffee grounds in the kitchen sink.

Gross!

Graffiti On Clarion

Here's some really cool graffiti in the Mission, on Clarion. Full Fare Bus Ticket coming down on your ass, motherfucker!

Bless your heart, Rosa Parks.

Some nice and varied designs in the graffiti that span the entire alley.

Like this chick. Yikes!

See, it's the same alley inside the dude!

I just think of the Soundgarden song when I see this. Or Spy Vs. Spy cartoons, like Janne said.

Janne thinking really hard about Spy Vs. Spy.
